Optobiotechnology center (OBTRC) in Nagoya Institute of Technology (NIT) organizes an international workshop for encouraging young researchers to discuss their recent studies and cultivate their international relationships. The workshop will be held on 28th and 29th of May at Nagoya Institute of Technology in conjunction with the 19th international conference on retinal proteins (ICRP2020) in Ise-Shima (From 1st to 6th of June). Many researchers studying retinal proteins, which is one of the reading research field closely relating to our research concept (optobiotechnology), will get together in ICRP2020. Therefore, we decided to organize the satellite workshop in Nagoya and would like to welcome the participants of ICRP2020, especially students and postdocs, presenting their recent advances with oral form [If the submitted abstract is approved by us, we would like to treat the speaker as invited]. We also sincerely welcome two keynote lecturers (Profs. Klaus Peter Hofmann and Mordechai Sheves), who are distinguished researchers in the field of retinal proteins. They will give us lectures including historical backgrounds of the research field as special seminars of Frontier Research Institutes. Thus, we also welcome students in master and Ph.D courses in NIT. Finally, we are looking forward to meeting all of people who are interested in this workshop, especially young researchers all over the world.

There is no fee to participate the workshop!
